Our Mission

Our vision is to create a welcoming, purpose-built Islamic centre that serves the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our community. We aim to be a place where people of all ages can connect through prayer, seek knowledge, and find support — all rooted in the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Through ongoing development, including a new Madrasah and car park, we strive to build a space that honours our faith and benefits future generations, insha’Allah.

Our Story

Makki Masjid Bolton began in 1977 as a small prayer space for just a few families in the local area. As our community grew, so did our vision — from a modest building to a vibrant centre of worship, learning, and unity. Over the decades, we’ve supported generations through prayer, education, and community service. Today, we continue to evolve with plans to expand our facilities, ensuring that Makki Masjid remains a welcoming and accessible space for all, insha’Allah.

Our Specialism

Makki Masjid Bolton specialises in providing traditional Islamic education, community-centred worship, and faith-based guidance rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah. We focus on nurturing the next generation through our structured Madrasah programme, while also offering adult learning, spiritual support, and essential services such as Nikah, funeral guidance, and community outreach. Our inclusive approach ensures that every member of our community feels supported on their journey of faith.
