Our Mission

Our intention is sincere: to support parents in raising children with strong Islamic identity, sound character, and love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. All of our teachers are qualified graduates of recognised Dārul ʿUlūms, with appropriate DBS clearance and health & safety training, ensuring a safe and professional learning environment.

Our Story

Madrasah Noor has been serving Lancaster for over 40+ years with a tried-and-tested approach to nurturing confident young Muslims — grounded in Qur’anic learning, strong character, and love of the Deen. Over the years, we have welcomed hundreds of students, and by the permission of Allah, many Huffāẓ have come through our madrassah. Alhamdulillāh.

Donation Policy

Purpose of donations
Donations support the charitable activities of Lancaster Islamic Community Hub, including masjid running costs, utilities, maintenance, staffing/teachers (where applicable), community services, and approved projects.
Unrestricted vs restricted donations
Unrestricted donations may be used wherever the need is greatest.
Restricted donations (where a donor selects a specific appeal/project) will be used for that purpose as far as reasonably possible.
Refunds
Donations are generally treated as gifts and are not normally refundable. If a genuine error occurs (wrong amount/duplicate payment), contact us promptly and we will review the request. (Card payments may also be subject to the payment provider’s rules.)
Gift Aid (if offered)
UK taxpayers may opt into Gift Aid where available. Donors must confirm they are eligible and have paid sufficient UK tax.
Payment processing & data
Online donations are processed by our payment providers (e.g., Give a Little / Stripe). We only use donor details for administering the donation, records, and legitimate charity administration, in line with our privacy approach.
