Our *Teach Quran, Retain Eman* program is a compassionate initiative designed to teach the Quran to asylum seeker and refugee children, helping them preserve their Muslim identity. We are committed to delivering high-quality Islamic education, fostering their faith, and nurturing their cultural heritage, even amidst the challenges they encounter.

Details

Among the 365,000 refugees residing in the UK, over 85% are Muslim. Approximately one-third of these individuals live in around 300 undisclosed bridging hotels across the country. Many of these facilities, particularly in rural areas where the closest faith institution is often a church, fail to address their spiritual needs. This situation fosters feelings of isolation and detachment from the wider Muslim community.

Other faith groups frequently visit these vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers, offering companionship and support, but sometimes pressuring them to abandon their faith in return. The lack of involvement from Muslim representatives exacerbates this issue, leaving these individuals without adequate spiritual or communal support.
