A Family Shattered by War

My name is Ayman, I’m 32 years old, unmarried, and I live in Gaza with my elderly, sick parents and my five siblings.

A few months ago, our entire home was destroyed in an airstrike. In one terrifying moment, we lost everything: our home, our belongings, our sense of safety. Everyone in my family was injured, and we were forced to flee from one dangerous area to another just to survive.

My father is 75 years old, frail, and severely ill. My mother, 67 years old, is battling cancer. They require medication and care that we simply cannot afford anymore.

My four sisters, aged between 29 and 37, are educated but have never been able to find work. They remain unmarried and without any source of income. My younger brother, Hussam, is only 23 and was forced to stop his education due to the war. He now suffers from a lymphatic tumor and urgently needs surgery.

We are now homeless, food-insecure, and without access to proper medical care. Prices for basic necessities like bread, water, and medicine have skyrocketed — and there is no way we can survive without help.

We are humbly asking for your support to help us:

Find shelter and rebuild a safe home.

Buy food, water, and essentials for daily living.

Cover the cost of urgent medical treatments for our mother and brother.

Provide basic support for our unemployed sisters.
